If you thought the lines Shonda Rhimes wrote for Ellen Pompeo on Grey’s Anatomy and Kerry Washington on Scandal were brilliant, wait until you see the ones she delivered herself at Dartmouth College’s Commencement ceremony yesterday. Despite the fact that Shonda said she hates public speaking (“I do not like to give speeches. I’m a writer. I’m a TV writer. I like to write stuff for other people to say.”), she totally nailed it.
